El típico cobertor mexicano ahora es ¡UNA CHAMARRA!

La marca Equihua, creada por la diseñadora de origen mexicano y nacida en Estados Unidos, Brenda Equihua, decició lanzar una línea de abrigos hecha con los famosos cobertores San Marcos.

La diseñadora, quien creció en Santa Bárbara, California, considera que la moda debería ser de inclusiva en el futuro y su línea, New Classics con 7 prendas, es una forma de honrar sus raíces mexicanas.

Los cobertores San Marcos están hechos de acrílico y tienen diseños como imágenes de un tigre, la Virgen de Guadalupe y leopardo. En la actualidad, solo se puede conseguir imitaciones estos cobertores porque la compañía San Marcos quebró en el 2004.

Esta línea ha tenido buena acogida en el ámbito del Street style y por su practicidad, pero también ha servido de catalizador para que una marca francesa Marine Serre, por lo que la Brenda denunció este acto en Instagram.
